My #1 Fan:
I picked up a copy of The State News on Sat. dated Fri., March 18 and wish I had not. I wondered why there were so many copies still in the “holder” (or whatever you call it) and when I looked at it, I think I know why.
How could you possibly feel good about distributing this paper with the photo of a great person, player and senior that you put on the front page of this issue. He has passion and feelings.
Obviously you have never been in his “position.”
I can’t believe “true” Spartans have displayed this on the newsstand. Of course, I have no way of knowing if you are Spartans. Anyway, it’s great to be a fan.
Senior Ricky Forrest leads the field in the 200 yard butterfly. Forrest finished the race first, helping the men’s team to a 164.5 to 135.5 finish over Purdue on Saturday afternoon at Charles McCaffree Pool at IM Sports-West. Josh Radtke/The State News
